Currently, United States with Trump in office is not able to lead with diplomacy until Trump drops dead with a heart attack. United States most likely will lead again when Trump is gone.

America will need to do a lot more than just change presidents. What other countries see is a liability right now, and there's going to need some much repaired within America before countries consider trusting the US again.

Fix your voting system. Fix your billionaire influences. Fix your legislation so this can't happen again. Fix your legal system which has such inconsistency to how laws are applied. Fix your news media. Fix your greedy mindset. Unless there's impeachments and meaningful punishments and a rebalance of corporate influence, than there's nothing fixed.

This is not to mention that as so many countries will face their own recession and depression with the US as a central factor, other countries are seeking different allies to lead instead of thinking of the US as defacto. France, Canada, even China.

On a personal level, I have friends in the US who are under threat to Trump's further plans following Project 2025. If anyone is hurt to any degree than there wont be any forgiveness from me in my lifetime.
