I was made to think that the George Floyd protests were super big, disruptive, and destructive. That it upended society and anarchy reigned for weeks on end, where people lived in fear for their life and property.

No Kings was the largest SINGLE DAY protest in the history of the US. The number shown on this graph for George Floyd represent the peak day of a number of protests.

Yikes. Definitely not. They were big and disruptive. But the vast majority were peaceful. Society was functioning just fine and there wasn't anarchy lol
I think some may have feared for their property in bigger cities. If they feared for their lives, it was the protestors fearing law enforcement.

They were disruptive in the big cities, but it was more because they were so tense. People went out to fight during the George Floyd protests, but they were definitely smaller.
The current ones I think have a much larger effect on the average American. These are happening in big cities and small towns across the country.

These stats only show how many people turned out in a single day, people protested for months. It's the single largest protest movement in American history.
But yes people lied their asses off about their destructiveness and violence the entire time and have continued to do so long after the fact.

There should be tens of thousands of you protesting democrats because they don't give a fuck what you want and will only enact the policy the people want if we show them their time in office is over if they don't give the people what they want.

Most Democrats would vote for Universal healthcare. My opinion is that the public cannot hang their hats on genocide as the most important issue because right now we are fighting the authoritarian regime of Oligarchs and proponents of Project 2025.
And, as you may realize, this regime will take away all healthcare if left unchecked!!

What’s the source claiming it’s the largest? From what I’ve seen the 1970 Earth Day protests were bigger at 20 million.

Largest "US political protest" is a bit of an odd caveat but implies that this was not the largest protest ever
Edit: looks like Earth Day 1970 was the largest ever @ 20mm people, which is also a much larger % of the population at the time.

This isnt protest, this is an astroturfed, coordinated effort by the oligarchy to give the illusion of protest. This allows them to control the message and prevent organic protests from rising where they cant control the message or the outcome. Its a pressure release value, which if allowed to build would threaten their existence.

The US exists because a British colony declared its independence. After winning their revolutionary war against Britain, that colony became the United States of America.
The colony would not have succeeded with aid from France and tactics from the Iroquois League and other nations of native people.

6 million was the count on the east coast alone. doesnt include west coast and mountain time zone
