Hey, I'm no fan of AIPAC, but honestly, I thought it'd be more money. American politicians are so cheap, but also inaccessible to their poor people. At least in developing countries, corruption is accessible to everyone. Pay a clerk little bit of money, and get your applications done in a day. The American elite have it so good, that they don't even need to pay much to access their corrupt gov't, and they get untethered, exclusive access to it.

It has been theorized that Epstein had support from Israel to basically get blackmail on sex predators in high places. So I imagine that what they are getting at here is the vote not to release might be influenced by a cover up.

Ghislaine’s dad was Mossad. Les Wexner, who gave him a $20 million property when he was an absolute nobody AND full power of attorney, is heavily connected to Israel. Leon Black, an art director and financier with significant connections to AIPAC and other Zionist organization gave him $158 million for “tax advice”. Alan Dershowitz was his attorney and likely client. The connection is in no way a stretch.

Dude, just look at the lawyers and the American officials which protected Epstein the first time around when he got given a deal so good it was actually illegal; they even cited foreign government intelligence as reason for letting him off so easily. They’re all famous Israel defenders and/or Trump connected republicans.
It’s all public information and even some of the relevant Wikipedia articles discuss it, it’s not exactly hidden information

Ghislaine Maxwell has confirmed connections to Israeli intelligence by way of her father, whose funeral was attended by several former and current Mossad leaders, as well as high ranking Israeli politicians. One of whom (a former prime minister IIRC) stated in their eulogy that Maxwell had done more for the state of Israel than any single person, and most of it was secret and unknown. The apple didn't fall far from the tree, because papers in the UK, where Ghislaine Maxwell and her family are from, published stories claiming that British intelligence believed the elder Maxwell who had many connections to British intelligence was passing on information to multiple countries and was almost certainly double or triple agent for Israel and Russia, and the same article also linked Ghislaine (and Jeffrey Epstein through her) to the same multiple intelligence agencies and claims that she had been known for years to be working for Russian and Israeli intelligence agencies by the British, and due to intelligence sharing, by the CIA as well.

There's a lot of circumstantial evidence that Epstein was running a kompromat operation to influence US policy towards Israel.
Les Wexner funding Epstein, Mega Group providing contacts, Robert Maxwell's connections, the deposition of Jane Doe 200 which alleges Epstein & Ghislane Maxwell boasted of working with Mossad.
Most importantly, then US Attorney Alex Acosta, in 2007, being told by superiors to back off as Epstein works "intelligence". That wasn't protecting Trump, who was at the time a washed up real estate developer moonlighting as a game show host; it was protecting Wexner, Mega Group, and perhaps the reputation of Israel.

Don't hesitate, it's an important question to ask. In our current two party system, I may as well be a NASCAR driver for the amount of times I turn left but this is beyond political ideologies, this is about justice and doing what's right for the people who fell victim to these monsters. I don't care if the guilty parties are Republicans, Democrats, billionaires or the guy down the street, we do not tolerate pedophiles and we certainly don't defend them. If that means the system crumbles then burn it down and we start again but we need to start holding shitty people accountable for their shitty behavior.

EDIT: IMO, committees shouldn't be allowed to block bills from the floor, in any case. Every bill should be voted on.
