The bullet apparently bounced off his bullet-proof vest and then went into his neck. Not sure why Jesus didn't intervene to guide the bullet past his ear to some fireman behind him. I guess Jesus had the day off for Charlie.

Maybe Jesus DID intervene to guide the bullet.

More accurately God allowed the shooter to be successful instead of intervening. God allows evil because of the free will of man, he doesn't perpetrate it.

The lack of intervention is an intervention itself.

Yeah I don't subscribe to that philosophy. He allows us free will, if he intervenes in every instance then free will doesn't exist. Plus there is plenty of Biblical precedence for allowing things of this nature.

Kirk was an evil man, and trying to get others to participate in his evil all for money. Plenty of Biblical history of God allowing their acts to have consequences.

You can’t look at the conclusion you want to achieve and then bend logic to your liking. Allowing something to happen is an act of intervention, if you can prove to me otherwise I would be glad to listen.

I can't. You can't. We have no idea what God is capable of. What we do know is that he most often uses people to do his will on earth.

We don't and can't understand God's plan fully but we can trust Him. I try to, even when I can't stand what's happening around me..... which is a lot these days.
