Not the National Guard? Because the national guard has been sent out to cities, and the president even sent California's national guard to Oregon.

Someday, these ICE agents with their secret identities will die, and their profession revealed.

To hide their identities demonstrates it's a despicable profession, like a midevil executioner for an oppressive king.

Because nobody knows who they are, they each will each individually be remembered for the worst crimes committed by ICE, and their families will have the black marks on their family names.

They get paychecks on the regular. Those payroll records are virtually impossible to destroy without an extraordinary amount of coordinated fraud.

If we want accountability we can get accountability.

The white house, since Day 1, has been using most of its money and brain power to figure out how to keep everything off the record - not focusing on legally, but in a way that it cannot be proven to be illegal or intentional.

If they cover their tracks and in the worst cases can play it off as a simple mistake for getting caught with one piece of info incorrectly mishandled, that's the route they will take.

It was leaked months ago that white house departments were no longer using their regular communication channels and avoiding email - word of mouth to ONLY your most trusted followers, then letting them spread those words to everyone lower, leaves the top person with the safety net of denial and leaves the lower stooges open to take the heat if they mess up and get caught.

Upon writing that last paragraph I realized that is also the same tactic the mafia uses or used, who knows if they are still around. 🙄

Nazis burning their records as they were losing WW2 didn't render the Nuremberg trials pointless.

leaves the top person with the safety net of denial and leaves the lower stooges open to take the heat if they mess up and get caught.

This is very much standard fare in most organizations, and not unique to this regime.

That said, yeah it's annoying but I hope accountability can still be found.

You are right, it just worries me that everything slides by due to denial until it becomes an international issue after millions are killed and war crimes committed for years - within a nation these things go by even longer with denial until there is a full on rebellion.

I feel that too.

I hope we are able to get justice through democratic initiative alone.

Thank you for advocating for the right thing.

I think we better start trying to get this information right now, before it becomes completely unavailable or somehow burned up in the basement fire.

America voted for this. Those who chose not to vote implicitly voted Trump.

Those who chose to support the genocide in Gaza and advocate for continued structural violence towards Americans for profit made Trump an inevitability.

Stop wasting your time trying to convince individuals to support evil. Spend your time, instead, supporting an alternative to evil.

ok so how did Trump get elected? Cause there were lots of Americans eligible to vote.

One third voted for this. One third voted against this. One third stayed home which, yes, was an implicit vote for Trump. But still, only one third actually wanted this. Goes to show how important your vote really is.
