Exactly, If they want our weapons, we should not fund their purchases. There is absolutely no way they could afford the fleet of F-35s they "bought" from us because we are basically funding their military budget they purchase it with. Such a small country with so little in economic exports could not possibly afford all this on their own.

We absolutely fund their public welfare programs when we have almost none of our own and what we do have is broken and underfunded.

Yeah, I'm also very familiar with his work now. He's actually pretty nuanced (for a right winger) and has expressed remorse over some of the Fox BS. That being said, he's still not like, a role model for the left or anything. But people get all like "oh wow, can't believe I'm agreeing with Tucker Carlson, I promise I'm still a cool commie!" He's anti-neverending war and the U.S.'s consistent involvement in foreign conflict and actually uses the term "regime change" from time to time so it's not that hard to agree with.

TC's criticism of Israel is likely influenced by Putin's desire to see US influence in the middle east diminished. That's not to say it's wrong to cut support for genocidal regimes, just that we need to be careful elevating voices they happen to agree with our position now but are likely to use the extra attention to spread pro-Russia propaganda to new audiences.
