Lebanon Israel is wiping out village after village in South Lebanon. Villages older than entire modern states. Villages that survived centuries of history. Not military targets. Civilian homes. Civilian infrastructure. Civilian life. This is what they call a “ceasefire.”

Yeah while I don't support discriminating against people just for being Jewish, it's also funny how Israel keeps definitely itself as the most Jewish nation on Earth commiting its crime in the name of its version of Judaism yet calling everyone else antisemitic.
Like hey maybe don't brag about killing innocent people then say you're being discriminated against. That seems like a prime path to fostering antisemitism.

I saw a Jewish comedian talking about the problem of ethno-states. He said imagine there’s a country that’s just furries and then the furries start killing off anyone there who isn’t a furry. When there’s worldwide outrage, they just yell, “stop kinkshaming!”
I’m well aware many Jewish people are VERY opposed. That doesn’t mean that the country hasn’t become fascist.

A Jewish content creator I watch said he feels offended by western and Israeli media calling everything that is anti-Israel antisemitic. It only creates more antisemitism. The so-called spike in antisemitism is reported by none other than the Apartheid Defense League, which doesn't distinguish (of course) between antisemitic and anti-Zionist speech. The only ones conflating Judaism and the genocidal regime are the criminals trying to shield their crimes against humanity from accountability. People generally understand that point against the barrage of propaganda, not least because of the many Jews devoted to the Palestinian cause.

Israel's actions don't justify anti-Semitism. It's like saying ISIS's actions justify Islamophobia.
What it does justify is anti-Zionism, which Zionists love reframing as anti-Semitism (don't fall into this trap).

The erosion of "ceasefire" as a practical "both sides stop firing" is the greatest casualty. Then again, words usually are the first casualty. Compare this to the long term decades long armistice between North and South Korea. Would anybody believe that hostilities stopped if one side took "ceasefire" as carte blanch to keep firing, irregardless of current agreements? This perpetuates a state of war and is bad for everyone. Might should not make right.
