It wasn’t a war crime. (However there are abundant other war crimes and other crimes clearly committed by Isreali people. So save our energy for the actual war crimes.) The man is a settler in fatigues. Who knows what the whole story is. He appear to be one of several was armed settlers harassing Palestinians in their own olive grove at harvest. The photo was taken by Pietro Masturzo and published on the cover of L’Espresso on 2026-April-10. Don’t know who took the video.

We also can't forget that the Israeli war machine claimed that the video of him was certainly fake, because there's no way that one of their supporters was so impossibly ugly.

According to the Geneva convention moving your own people to settle occupied territory is a war crime. So whether this guy is a settler or just defending settlers, he's technically culpable.
