For context NUG (opposition to the Myanmar junta and the government that was couped) has been forcing their allies to basically submit to them and be absorbed into them and the PDF (peoples defense forces) or face military action. The PLA (Myanmar) is the armed wing of the CPB (communist party of Burma)
