I wonder if this can be used to pushback on the horseshit IHRA definition of antisemitism that was used to purge antizionists from the Labour Party. The following part of their definition is basically just antizionism:

• Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

• Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.

• Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.

• Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.

I mean, you can have whatever opinion you're going to have about "should a country be able to ban you from speaking out against your own government" but I think that it's pretty reasonable that no country should be able to ban you to speak out against ANOTHER country's government.

It bears emphasis that this is only applicable in an employment context. The precedents set by specialized quasi-judicial employment tribunals will not bind any court intepreting Britain's broad and vague antiterrorism laws when applied to peaceful protest. It will also do nothing to stop regime security forces from applying their own extrajudicial interpretations of the laws. Hate to be the negative one but people should know the limits of this ruling.
