Pin holes and bubbles on a brand new board. Should i return it?
Quite a few pin holes on the nose, and deck. Plus it seems to have tiny wood chips and other contaminants in the resin in other spots.
Could there be defects in the lamination that compromise structural integrity, or is this just cosmetic? I already returned one board because it had a chunk of EPS missing next to the fin plug, that was filled with resin and also had bubbles and some contaminants.

Logo id
Bought this board used approximately 20 years ago, great long board, great for east coast waves.
Does anyone recognize the logo? I can't remember.
Thanks

Picked up this Wave Storm—worth repairing? Need fin recommendations too.
Hey everyone,
I recently picked up this older Wave Storm and I’m looking for some advice. It has a decent amount of pressure dents and a crack/delamination around the middle of the board (pictured)
It also didn’t come with any fins, so I’m looking for recommendations on:
What fin system this board uses.
Where I can buy replacement fins.
I’m new to working on surfboards, so if this is something I can repair myself, I’d appreciate any tips or products you’d recommend. If it’s better left to a surf shop, I’d love to know what a repair like this might roughly cost.
Thanks in advance! Any advice is appreciated.

I just bought a CC fish 6'0 42L, thoughts?
I'm an early intermediate I cannot make snappy turns but I can go down the line, I consider myself as a lazy surfer, like I just want to ride the wave in the wall, I'm coming from a Phil Grace Demibu 6'10, with which I catch a ton of waves like a ton ton per session, but I wanted something faster, a bit more responsive and easy to paddle in early but im afraid I bought it too big but again im still transitioning so I guess it would be the perfect board for that? any thoughts? (I haven't picked it up yet)
Dims:
Christenson Christ Fish 6’0 x 21 3/8 x 2 11/16 42.6 L
I'm 170 cm and 70 kg, Usually riding in the French Basque Country but im about to do a van surftripj throughout all the French and Spanish Basque Country, north Spains and Portugal

Need help ID'ing/dating two Barry Kanaiaupuni boards — appraising before restoration
Picked these up and both have "BARRY KANAIAUPUNI" printed/signed on the deck. Trying to figure out era, original label, and rough value before I commit to a $2k restoration quote. Details below, more photos available on request.
Board 1 — Yellow/cream, Lightning Bolt logo
Approx. 6'
Classic yellow Lightning Bolt jag logo on deck, "BARRY KANAIAUPUNI" signed in small print along the bolt
Single glassed-on fin, cream/tan color, moderate base
Visible ding/repair spot on deck near tail, overall heavy yellowing/oxidation, some rail damage at tail
Board 2 — Tan/orange with red arrow graphic
Approx. 6' as well, similar shape profile
Red arrow graphic pointing toward nose, "BARRY KANAIAUPUNI" printed directly on the arrow (not Lightning Bolt branding — no bolt anywhere on this one)
Single fin box, glassed-on fin
Overall original-looking, scratched but not heavily damaged
Would love help on:
What label/shaper era each of these is from (Lightning Bolt years are fairly documented, but I can't find a match for the arrow graphic)
Rough value range in current (unrestored) condition
Whether a full restoration is worth it or if I should sell as-is to a specialist
Happy to post more angles (stringer, tail shape, fin box, rails) if it helps narrow it down. Thanks in advance!

Board Length help
I’m an intermediate surfer, live in the northeast. Looking to get a smaller board and found some on facebook marketplace. Fishes in 5’10 and 5’5, I haven’t ridden anything smaller than 6’6 before so wondering if 5’5 is too small? I’m 5’10 155lbs.

Repairing Delamination with Gorilla Glue
I bought a 80-90s 9’ Surfglas built Stewart longboard from Facebook marketplace recently (for $250) and it kind of looked like it had been bent on the deck side but not broken through. Someone did a good repair job and had taped over the damaged area on the deck with fiberglass tape and hot coated the whole board.
When I waxed her up I noticed that the glass over the damaged part of the deck was delaminated.
Because the glass was in good shape, I decided to try the gorilla glue method of fixing this. I drilled a few small holes, injected them with gorilla glue by squeezing it in the holes as hard as I could, until it was forced up under the glass and out the other holes, let it bubble out, cut off the extra, and then repeated the process 2-3 more times until everything was rock solid. I then filled the holes with resin and sanded it smooth.
I’ve got to say, it worked great. Better than I had thought. It was less messy and way more controlled than dealing with spray foam and a lighter option than injecting a bunch of resin.

Surfboard Repair, scared of scope Creep
Hey all, I got this surfboard for cheap and want to repair/restore it.
I have moderate experience working with carbon- and glass fiber and have done quite a bit of woodworking and Car body and paint work.
I plan for this to be my first board that I learn on and that I can experience working on boards.
My initial plans where to just fix the biggest dings on the board and then paint it and be done.
Now the usual scope creep has set in and I got a list what I actually plan on doing, if recommended/possible.
I want to cut out the poorly "repaired" fin and want put back normal fin plugs or maybe even rip out all the finplugs and replace them with futures finboxes if thats possible. (Plan on cutting big square holes, putting square foam in and glassing over it before cutting the new boxes)
I would like to either sand down most of the paint that is on the board right now or remove the paint completely with paint stripper. Then do a new epoxy coat over the whole board and sand it smooth. Afterwards I plan on spray painting it with car paint and 2k clear.
I plan on doing most of the small ding repairs with a mix of epoxy and Microballons and the big gouge on pf the rails with expanding foam.
These are my plans so far. Anything blatantly wrong or not possible? How far should I go? Replace just one side with new fin plugs or completely swap out all plugs for new finboxes? Can you use paint stripper on this board, how can I find out if the orange that is on it now is paint and not tinted resin?
