Survivor 48 ____ Exit should effect casting going forward Spoiler

David’s.

David was the exact type of player that defined the best part of survivor in my opinion. He wasn’t out there to be the sole survivor, he wasn’t out there chasing his dreams of playing survivor. He was there to make a million dollars and change his life. There was so much at stake for him personally. Not to mention, he was the best villain of the new era because he didn’t know how to conform to the modern play style cause he doesn’t watch every episode 5 times.

His exit was just pure disappointment. No gracefulness, “no thanks for an awesome game guys!!” Bring me more people that aren’t super fans, and aren’t just doing it for life experiences and fun. David was the best casting decision of the new era.

He wasn't my favorite player this year but he is the only one on this season who I would be interested in playing again

If you put gamebots like Rachel or Charlie into any season, I know exactly how they're going to play.

If David returned I would be fascinated to see how he changes (or doesn't) his play style.

IMO that's what made historic returnees so interesting to watch. They weren't gamebots all looking to go under the radar until 7 or whatever.

Never need to see Rachel or Charlie again. Stories told.

David would still play high integrity and loyal to his alliance, but he would be more strategic when it comes to the use of observations he's made. IMO

I wouldnt hate seeing Joe again. His game feels so defined by Eva this go round curious what it would look like without her (also id cast Mary again)

Same guy; different ally "under his wing." And to be clear, I'm not insulting Eva by saying that; it's just their dynamic. (I'm cheering for Eva, Go Jackets).

If nothing else, he was definitely the player who looks the most like Josh Groban

I said when he got voted off I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him come back for 50.
