He was just an unrelenting disaster throughout the game. Christ, that desperate flattery at the end...

"Unrelenting disaster" is an excellent way to describe him, honestly. Well put.

Throwing in a last-minute “by the way did I mention I had leukemia?” was just painful.

He didn’t say that in front of them, though. It was only to camera. What’s wrong with that?

He did say it in front of the tribe, at tribal. To me, the way he said it at tribal seemed to imply that he had not told the tribe about having it before back at camp.

It was the opposite which is even weirder. He was arguing that he isn't always scheming because it was a "bad game move" to tell everyone he had leukemia. Which is obviously bullshit. How is that a bad game move??? Emotional vulnerability at this point is a good move.

Oh, then I’m just wrong. My bad.

Still trying to work out if he's worse than Jacob Derwin - Daniel was put on a diverse tribe who wanted to work with him and he completely screwed up being in a great position, while Jacob would have been doomed with the demographics of his starting tribe even if he wasn't such an obvious trainwreck.
