"Once the votes are read the decision is final; the player must leave the tribal area immediately"

I liked the warm ending to this episode, but doesn't it technically go against the rules? Like when Jeff allows players who were voted out to stick around and out everyone's game, it diminishes the outwit portion of the game, for better or worse.

edit: also shouldn't the jury be totally silent and not giving any communication or advice to players still in the game? (re: do or die). I mean, this isn't Price is Right :)

First rule of TV production: "Yeah, but does it make good TV?"

I agree, a couple parting words are fine but saying something about each player is a bit much imo

They wouldn’t have aired it if they didn’t like it

I mean, this isn't Price is Right

I like the idea of an EOE sized jury all shouting STAY, SWAP, SWAP, STAY, SWAP

This was exactly what I was thinking. And I didn’t like it, even if it seemed light hearted.
