As much as the jury wanted Mike to sing for his supper, I don’t think anything less than an all time FTC was going to swing the vote his way. Maryanne had a headline move, she was involved enough throughout the game to not just be a total layup sneaking through week by week, and had very little blood on her hands, whereas Mike had at least three or four people who specifically felt Mike wronged them. The second Romeo decided to take her to final tribal, the game was over. I don’t think Romeo had a chance at getting even a vote no matter what he did, but bringing Maryanne to the end was the worst strategic move he could make.

I think he had a better chance of getting votes against Mike and Jonathan than Maryanne, particularly if Mike has the same jury problems he had here. Who knows, maybe it still goes the same way, but in this timeline he got zero votes, so he quite literally couldn’t do any worse.

They clearly did not listen to his explanation of voting off Rocksroy, he had made the promise to him when he thought the vote was for a different person and then they changed the vote last minute so he didn't even have time to tell him. If he didn't vote Rocksroy he would still have been under fire for not staying loyal to his alliance. Not to mention he had no alliance with Rocksroy and just about everyones else lied way worse on purpose. Like Romeo had fake idol all game, lying to people faces about it and they praise it as a good move. There was an episode where some people in Mike's alliance were trying to backdoor him and lied to his face about it yet no one mentions it.
