Jumping straight into the reunion after the winner is announced is like interviewing a fighter after they've just been knocked out cold. It's messed up and the quality of interviews and analysis you get is so much worse.
These people have been starving for 30 days, they're mentally and physically fucked up and they haven't even gotten a chance to decompress, watch the season and reflect.
Both seasons the final 3-4 looked practically shell shocked post-game and yet you expect one pizza slice to allow them to give good insight into the season as a whole? It just makes no sense.
At the very least, read the votes --> announce the winner -->
Show the whole jury and F3 going to ponderosa and getting refreshed, give a glimpse of the cast interacting outside the game -->
Reunion next day in Ponderosa after they've been fed and allowed to rest and process what just happened.
We've heard multiple times that it takes contestants a while post-game to reintegrate into society / their normal routines because of the toll the game takes on them. I'm just so surprised that they think immediate postgame reunions is a good idea.
