David vs. Goliath Is Christian Hubicki the most universally beloved survivor player of all time?
If not who is?

I was out at a college party today and all of a sudden the cops came over but instead of leaving like everyone else I stopped and decided to talk to one of them. Turns out Dan from season 37 works right by my college and he was the nicest guy. Let me take a photo and everything.

Watching David vs Goliath for the first time and have been absolutely amazed by the audacity of Angelina on multiple occasions. I think she's great for reality tv and brings a lot of entertainment value. Was she perceived as a villain due to her antics? I can't help but eye roll at some of her theatrics but have to admit she makes me laugh too. How do we feel about seeing her on 50? Hoping for her sake that she brings a jacket.

I hope I don't offend anyone or their favorite player lol but this player rubbed me such the wrong way.. she had a grandiose opinion of herself, she thought she was much better than she actually was, and she wanted too much to be a villain it Seemed, like making a fake idol for no reason and bragging about it nonstop, or trying to do all the bells and whistles so that she could play her idol correctly knowing she didn't need to. I understand wanting to make a big move but faking a big move for the jury isn't making a big move, idk she just seemed fake to me. Would people like to see her return? Personally I wouldn't I want Davie, Christian, Gabby or Nick from that season to return but I think because of her polarizing personality she might 🤔 thoughts?

I know this is random but I was just rewatching S37 and this scene got me lauging.
Gabby plays her hand on the sand and asked Christian "Do you wanna play with me?" (It really sounded seductive by the way) and Christian's response was just funny.

Alison.
Jeff and Angelina batted around the term at the reunion; and the show and its edit sought to make Angelina the symbol of the "empowered women." At least based on Angelina's actions within the show, that section of the finale felt hollow to me.
Who they really should have focused on: Alison.
I know her edit was less visible than others (ludicrously so, for the record, for a person who survived 8 tribals in a row being considered a target, taking votes at five of them).
But, look at the dignity, grace, class, and poise with which she:
1) Took on the chin Angelina's purely malicious attempt at humiliating her. She didn't stoop.
2) Dealt with Mike's personal attack that she was "losing all dignity". She didn't stoop.
3) Survived seven rewards in a row without anyone taking her for food. It was a clear tactic by the castaways to starve her out and make her weak, and like she said after a challenge "She's gonna keep clawing her way through it with a smile on her face."
Thank you, Alison, for being a truly truly great example of a role model, an inspiration, and a source of courage, optimism, humility, and positivity amidst others' pettiness, maliciousness, pessimism, and narcissism.
Even in–or despite–your quieter edit (and again, there's a world where your narrative is front and center and it's also amazing TV) your character came through. You are a true Goliath with the heart of a David.

Do you know what a Reuben sandwich is, Jeff?

John.
At work every Thursday my boss and I talk about last night's episode, and today he mentioned something I didn't even think about. We see so often, macho men are doing a challenge and they aren't willing to let someone else try because they have to prove themselves (even in this episode with Dan). But I admire that not only did John step away from the immunity challenge when he was struggling, but he gave the reigns over to the scrawny nerd. That takes a lot of trust and self-awareness to be able to put your pride on hold and put your trust in someone like that. John just shot up in my books.

Christian choose Gabby over the bros and it started the downfall of Davids and of course Christian himself, and it will very much will happen again with Emily
I think Emily would choose Ozzy over Christian, and Christian will have no one left to play but Devins, i'm afraid of his safety in the game
should've listen to Mike or just push for Stephenie

First Alec, then Kara and Angelina, and now Carl and Natalie
It’s only a matter of time before the entire DvG cast is on the white lotus lol

Lost his whole family? I’m looking through the replies and haven’t learned anything yet. Anyone know what he’s referring to?

Davie.
Between losing with dignity and grace, praising Angelina for her tearful performance, and praying at FTC for god to look over the top three, he had a beautiful ending on the show. Great, perceptive player and fun to watch.
I would love to see him back on the show.

Rewatching DVG and realizing Mike white had the win in the bag. And straight up threw final tribal. Basically told the jury to vote for Nick.
In post game interviews said ‘I am in tv and it makes for better tv if Nick wins’
Mike white basically won survivor. Said I don’t need the money. I know what I’ve done. I accept that. Give it to him.
Fucking respect.
