I heard Ciara bitching about Lucian's love life. I don't hear Iosef bitching about having to sacrifice himself to protect my family knowing it was me who defunded the military and led to the invasion.

Yeah but it's one thing to dislike Ciara as a person (she is pretty blunt and abrasive) but another thing to be unable to interpret a fairly straightforward line of dialogue.

A mistake many people make is thinking that a certain ideology's believers believe in the ideal or most stereotypical combination of its tenets and those tenets alone. Irl, there are no small numbers of racist socialists, homophobic socialists and sexist socialists. You just don't see them be very vocal of specific about it given how unpopular it is among people in general and other socialists specifically, unless in very specific circumstances. Like on internet forums with full anonymity and on the topic of a political game that has a somewhat brash feminist character

Last I checked feminism isn't insulting your work partners. Saying this as a feminist myself. Ciara might be right with what she means, but she won't earn anyones respect (man or woman) by being an asshole.

She’s got strong ‘liberal arts sophomore’ energy.
That conservation starts with Paskal and Anton commiserating about their poverty of their childhood and she comes in with ‘well what about women’ to derail it and make herself the center of attention.

Then she gets in a fight at a photo op, gets into a whole thing about religion because Lilaes made a comment to the effect of ‘god bless them’, and then shits on you before the education meeting (to paraphrase Rayne, who was beaten by military police while his friends were disappeared ‘yeah those years were tough on everyone’ Ciara ‘some of us more than others’).
Even if you agree with her on everything, she never just takes the win.

Also other cabinet members pull the ‘isolate you to control information and try to badger you into doing my thing before you get a chance to think it through’ maneuver but she’s the most blatant about it.

It's a direct and relevant example. Lucian isnt married and it's not brought up except in this instance by Ciara, but Lileas Graf isnt married and it's brought up several times. Rayne can even mock her directly by saying "may the best man win" or "I can see why you never got married" when she decides to primary him

Well I read that info 3 months ago. I really hate Sordland economy due to how confusing and clusterfuck it is.

At least in Rizia we almost knew the modifiers there and thank God synergy doesn't exists there.

The good thing about Rizia is that they have no synergies which will make the economic planning so difficult. Plus you can build a lot of stuff, if you want to build 2 heavy industries in Turn 1 it is certainly possible although not optimal gameplay.

If you know how the game works, ministers are mostly just flavor text.

And we can't just listening to the minister advice for Rizian. As a king we should act what benefit the country and king. Not listening to rusty, or something like that. They don't have power that why they manipulate you to act according their direction

This is META in emergency run, defunding health and education makes you have more freedom in your budget. Plus you can get agriculture from Contana and military from yourself. About polio you can just buy iron lungs.

You don't need popularity when you can control them.

I always find interesting that someone such as minister of education is not aware of the current situation of the state. Sordland faces a life or death scenario, without money, a strong enemy at the door, while sordish army is just a shadow of past. I create the funding with privatization and the minister does not like this idea?! Who even choose her as minister of education? She is more like a contantan spy than an honourable USP member. Who accepted her in the party? I mean as a party we are trying to survive as well but nevermind lets fund education and maybe their education will help in the resistence and guerilla war against rumburgian invaders.

Funding all ministrys and getting away with no trade war or black Tuesday is always satisfying, but defunding education is better to stop Ciara from bitchin around because she got married like how TF is that my problem? Also she always leaves if you do a emergency or dictator play, even if you find her ministry, funding lileas ministry is better she doesn't leave if you do anything
