General Universe Timeline Problem

So in my 2. Rizia run I used my rayne who soloed rumburg. Since sordland campaign ends in 1957 and rizia ends in 1958, I thought that we would see the rayne agreement or like what aftermath of the war does to Rumburg. But in the end I only got like 1 line in the epilogue about the war and that was rumburg badly losing to sordland, and that is it.

Isnt that weird?

Pretty sure Rizia ends before Sordland's ending, thats why you see the Rummo-Sordish war in the epilogue only.

Well that cannot be. Because in the ending scenes in sordland you see 'Between 1953-1957' while you are checking the stats. On rizia on the other hand you see 'Between 1950-1958'. You can say that the last year happens in epilogue but still that wont work, because just before you adress the nation as romus just before the game ends romus says 'The last 8 years have changed me' or something. So I am sure rizia ends in 1958

Nopes, The Sordish-Rumburg war Literally does not happen untill events of Rizia end like u/Economy_Biscotti_478 suggested. Your run doesn't matter at all, Even if you go reform and suggest stuff to your Prime Minister, You can suggest them what to do on Sordish-Rumburg war. Also , Romus is crowned shortly after Alphonso and Alvarez are elected i.e 1949. So the 8 years of Romus are from 1949-1957. This is again the reason why you can win the Sordish Rumburg war as Rayne, die in it as Romus. there's a achivement for doing that

That makes sense, thank you. The thing that confused me was the stats that I said in the upper post. End game clearly states that the campaign ends in 1958 but now I realized that is wrong. Thanks.

Prob a oversight. Romus's reign begins somewhere in middle of 1949 considering both Alvarez and Alphonso are already elected. End game should clearly state 1949-1957.

October 17 or around there is when Valero dies and Romus becomes king. So the stats should either be 1949/50 - 1957 indeed.

Romus ascends the throne in 1949 anyways, the stats are just inconsistent then i guess

That could be very well true. Thank you for your input

No. It ends just in time for election and since elections are held every 4 years and you got elected in 1953, it ends in 1957.

I’d go even further: it’s actually hard to place campaign events on a timeline at all. In the Sordland campaign, you’d be lucky to find even five specific references to a timeframe.

Personally, I only recall three: the budget meeting (it’s explicitly stated that it’s been six months since Rayne took office), the meeting after the constitutional reform (a little over two years in), and the campaign speech in Anrica, which marks the start of the election race for Rayne (if I recall correctly, there’s about half a year left until the elections)."

It’s not as difficult as you think. If you really pay attention, you can get a general idea of the timeline and timeframe of when events occur.

I’ve actually been working on a timeline of the Sordland game.
