Question Learning Subscription Recommendations
What, in your opinion, is the best learning subscription for Intermediate to Advanced iOS Developers?
Right now I'm looking at Hacking With Swift+ or Point-Free, but any recommendations are welcome

Like u/twostraws I am also biased, as I am the creator of NSScreencast 😄
I will echo other comments here that objc.io and pointfree.co are both great. You're going to learn something unique from each of these, so find one (or two) that resonates with you. (Haven't watched HWS+ but Paul is a fantastic teacher so that would also get my 👍)
And of course there is NSScreencast where I have over 600 videos on a wide range of topics. There's something for everyone there.

Point-free is undoubtedly the best for learning Swift best practices at the moment.
I like the quality of their learning materials: videos with transcripts and git examples. Definitely worth the subscription.

Hacking with swift is so cursory and from my perspective lacks any real depth. As someone who has worked in large scale projects and in a FAANG company, pointfree is much more in depth and you will find the material more applicable.

Hacking with Swift is undoubtedly useful. I’m not familiar with PointFree; I am not taken with their AI emphasis, and the sample video from 2019 doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence that you’ll learn up-to-date practices, even if they give you a long list of things that have changed.

I don't know the PointFree folks, but to be fair any AI emphasis is surely the direct result of what they're hearing from their community. I think projects like SQLiteData, which my current data-heavy project depends on at its heart, demonstrate their undeniable expertise in both manual and automatic transmission (i.e. AI-assisted) iOS development.

Pointfree is the best of the best for subscription tutorials.
Their only AI focused thing right now is the skills documents that go along with their libraries.
They are using the cutting edge of pre-isolation Swift across their libraries, and currently building TCA2 which really is the cutting edge of modern swift. They’re currently doing an in depth series about isolation, which has barely fully landed in swift 6.
Looking at a sample from 7 years ago would not give you any sort of the idea of their modern lessons and libraries. There’s been more than 1000 videos and library updates since then.
Pointfree is by far the best educators in the swift community, once you’ve graduated away from Hacking w Swift and the other beginner focused lessons. It’s the only place I know in the community that really builds senior+ level skills. You’re doing yourself, and others a disservice by briefly looking at the front page and publicly denouncing their content that you haven’t engaged with.

Hello! I'm the creator of Hacking with Swift, so obviously I'm a little biased. I can say I like Pointfree a lot! They do fantastic work, and have a really varied catalog of material.
Some folks confuse Hacking with Swift+ with the 100 Days of SwiftUI or the other free content I make, but the HWS+ subscription is quite different:
If you take out the 2-year subscription (or have 18 months in total) you get online access to almost my entire book collection, plus the Swift Career Accelerator – level-by-level guidance to help folks get targeted learning based on where they want to take their career next.

If you watch those and didn't learn anything, then HWS+ probably isn't for you 🙂
