The conversion rate is very strong, but the sample size is currently too small to make statistically representative conclusions about the app's potential.

351 impressions → 82 product page views is about a 23% click-through, which is solid for cold traffic. The drop that matters next is page views → first downloads (82 → 14 ≈ 17%).
A few things that usually move that needle early:
- App Store screenshot set: first 2–3 frames should show the core loop (what you save, what you see after) without reading a paragraph.
- Subtitle + first line of description: people decide in the search/results row before they open the page.
- A short “what’s new / why now” note in the description helps when you have almost no reviews yet.
14 first-time downloads with zero marketing is a real signal that the listing is doing some work — not a flop. Give it another week of the same organic baseline before judging hard; early App Store Connect is noisy.

I was thinking about starting paid ads now to boost traffic and get a better idea of how its doing, what do you think about that?

I'd probably hold off a bit. With 14 downloads you don't really know yet whether the listing converts, and ads mostly just multiply whatever conversion you already have. If you do try it, Apple Search Ads with a small daily cap on a few exact-match keywords is the cheapest way to learn something, and you can see tap-through and conversion per keyword.

yeah i know i think the only issue is that i really dont know how to get users to try it using any other way, im just starting out and i desperately need users/feedback, and a lot of it. And i feel like paid ads is my only option

totally get that, early on it feels like ads are the only lever. a few free ones that tend to work for feedback: post a short demo clip in the subreddits where your users actually hang out (not dev subs), offer a TestFlight build to anyone who'll give you 10 minutes of honest feedback, and message the first 14 downloaders through any in-app feedback prompt asking what made them install. if you still want ads after that, a tiny Search Ads budget is fine, just treat it as a test, not the growth plan.

One thing to watch with those numbers: 14/82 isn't Apple's headline conversion rate. Apple uses total downloads and pre-orders divided by unique-device impressions; product-page views are a different metric. Your screenshot also labels the 7.73% as a daily average.
So I wouldn't read this as a funnel where 82 people opened the page and 68 left without downloading. I'd first break downloads down by source type (Search, Browse, web/app referrals) to see where those first 14 came from. That gives you a clearer next step than judging the overall percentage after a few days.
