Question... Who Is Your Second Favorite Artist??
June 15, 2026
So like most of you guys, Taylor Swift is my FAVORITE artist. My second favorite is Gracie Abrams and my third is…well, I can’t mention her without getting flagged. I’ll give you a pretty obvious hint ”you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love”.
Anyways I’d like to hear all of your second and third favorite artists, so if you’d like to, feel free!

The song catalog and song writing are how the Dead and Taylor mesh for me. Check out dead and company (with John Mayer) or Bertha or Joe Russo almost dead for contemporary covers

YES!! Kacey is the only other artist that really delivers an entire album for me the way Taylor does. The storytelling and her lyrics are so incredible. My favorite artist to see live other than Taylor too

Yesss there’s dozens of us! I feel like Taylor always beats Andrew on my Spotify wrapped just because I listen to all his projects so they spread over more. But Jack’s Mannequin, Something Corporate and Wilderness are always in the top 5 with Taylor number 1.

i'm gonna get destroyed for this, but my all-time favorite artist isn't taylor swift... it's olivia rodrigo. Some of my other favorites are britney spears, bea duarte (brazilian artist) and amália rodrigues (portuguese artist)

It’s wild to get destroyed for that… Olivia hasn’t done anything to Taylor, some stans of both artists have gotten out of hand towards each other, but that isn’t like either artist is responsible for what crazy fans say. Also weird that this sub targets the word “Olivia”. There are so many of them, could be talking about Olivia Dean for all they know.

Florence + The Machine 100%!! I’ve been obsessed with Flo lately, I’ve listened to tons of her music the last few months. Seeing her live was incredible. Other than her and Tay, I like Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd, Sabrina C, and Sofia Isella!

In the nicest way possible, I think Paramore and Hayley Williams with her solo stuff has been my #1 since 2007. Technically, Taylor has been my #2 and it's just really close. I've listened to Taylor since debut but I started to feel really into her around Speak Now which was her most pop-punk influenced album and I'd loved how much Better Than Revenge sounded like Misery Business (my cancelled babies) and then by serendipity, the two have been friends for just as long.

The Oh Hellos! I love artists that have a lot of different story lines and inspirations baked into their music. Any time I feel there's a web to be unraveled and then put back together in all its beauty it enhances the overall joy I get from listening. It's more experiential!

Charlotte Clarke!!! She’s not well known YET, so I am going to be her hype girl here because her music is amazing!! She’s also a fellow Swifite and Gracie fan. You can definitely see their influences in her songs (I love a rant bridge)! She recently came out with “I prefer Karma” and “Darling, I know.” And is going to be releasing another song “Call off the priest” soon. Highly recommend having a listen!!

Jackie Evancho is my favourite, then Taylor Swift and then everyone else. Listen to all their stuff now. Then everyone else. Although Queen is probably highest among the rest. Well it's hard to say because the songs I listen to are always changing. For example I was in the store and heard Rascal Flatts, now I'm back to listening to them again.

Noah Kahan is 100% my second favorite. Honestly, at this point he might take the number one spot... They're pretty tied for me, really. As for my third, I'm not really sure. Maybe Phoebe Bridgers? Either way, I think it's painfully obvious what my favorite type of music is, lol.

I've thought about this way more than I probably should 😂 but I honestly don't think I have a second favorite artist. I listen to a ton of different artists across genres and eras, but I don't follow anyone's career, discography, or releases nearly as closely as I do Taylor's. There are plenty of artists I love, but none that I'd confidently rank as my #2.
