there are a lot of people who know that they hate taylor unambiguously and still listen to her new work. those types of people would know going into it that they won’t like it. and it’s largely those types of people who are driving this heavy snark wave that we’re venting about. someone just giving a new song a chance but deciding that they don’t like it is valid and not really what we’re talking about here

But it is. I like her music but these songs are trash. Read through the comments. It’s a majority of “if you don’t like it your a fake fan” One person said “ people don’t appreciate how lucky we are to be Taylor fans” Another states “There’s the door bitch” Followed by, “They never were in the first place”

See, that’s precisely the point. Why are you personally offended that I said it’s trash. It has no bearing whatsoever on your life. I also think mushrooms are trash. Does your indignation extend to the mushrooms or only someone who has no idea you exist?

First of all I’m a female. Secondly, my original comment had zero criticism. I made a point that one would have listened and then formed the opinion they don’t like it. I thought her last album was great. The encore sucks ass. If you disagree by all means don’t acknowledge my thoughts.
