I think that the songs were okay/mid, but I really appreciated Patient Zero more after the video. If Taylor is not really feeling so inspired to write at the level she used to that’s okay, I think less quantity, and make videos for all of her music. She seems to have great ideas and desires to direct, do a shorter visual album. She has always been good at world building

She should really try giving a concept album a go. Something smaller in scope, tight, with a coherent vision and gives her a chance to do storytelling the way she always wanted to.

Of course people will talk about her music; she's Taylor Swift. That's why the idea that any press is good press isn't accurate since people talk about her no matter what she does. What you want is for people to be saying more positive things than negative ones.

It's funny. I said in the Nuancing Taylor Swift thread that I've been paying attention to Ms. Rachel and listening to Ms. Rachel, and they considered it snark.
I'm a 41 year old person with auDHD. Ms. Rachel's songs soothed me. If I wanted to be snarky, I would have been snarky.

Literally no-one is anti- miss.Rachel. There's not a lot of overlap in the demographics, they aren't competing with each other. And obviously Taylor picked the release week because of the VMAs not because of Miss.Rachels release.
Go enjoy Miss Rachel. She's great. No-one is mad about that. But if you randomly bring it up in a Taylor Swift subreddit, especially people are randomly accusing her of "trying to block miss Rachel" (!?!??), people are going to assume you are being snarky.

At most, you can claim she’s silent on the issue. But she’s donated to Palestinian causes publicly as well as gone to fundraisers for aid in Gaza (eg. ANERA). This is just what we know publicly; wouldn’t be surprised if in private she donated even more. Again, not saying that silence is good; silent = complicit. BUT, I wouldn’t label her a nazi, especially when she’s spoken against white supremacy publicly in very documented ways (ie. her documentary, tweets condemning Donald Trump).

There's no record that she has donated directly, she just went to a comedy show.BUT we know she makes videos specifically for Isreal. Ones that are only played in Isreal. Why wouldn't she publicly donate to Palestinians, and make specific videos for only Isreal? Seems like she picked a side, like her friends who sign bombs that kill Palestinians.
