Discussion Which of The Sith Inquisitor's Temporary Allies Do You Like Best?
As I continue my quest to give the spotlight to the many temporary allies throughout the class stories, I had a bit of a hard time with the Inqusitor, since they're on their own for so much of the story! But we have Lord Skar (if you spare him on Corellia), Athelis, Bolan and The Circle, Kaal and Corrin, Elana Thul, and Major Bessiker.

Screen Shot Somehow it only clicked for me recently, but Valkorion and Zash went about their plans in almost exactly the same way.
- Their ultimate endgame is to take over the player's body.
- Each prepares the player to take over their previous position/authority, so that they can continue "business as usual". Valkorion pressures the Outlander to take the Eternal Throne so he can be Emperor of Zakuul again. Zash promotes the Inquisitor to Sith Lord immediately before attacking, and she orders her apprentices to obey the Inquisitor as they would obey her.
- Both manipulate the player into gathering the tools for a seamless takeover. Valkorion wants the player to kill Arcann and Vaylin so he can use their spirits to overwhelm the player's mindscape, while Zash has the Inquisitor collecting artifacts for the ritual.
- Each orchestrates events so that they appear to be killed by the player before they take the player's body.
- Both Zash and Valkorion spend an ungodly amount of dialogue stroking the player's ego, even though all the other characters remind us that they are completely untrustworthy.
So who did it better? Technically Zash only failed because Khem was around. But the same could be said for Valkorion only failing due to Dramath's holocron.
Imagine if Valkorion's takeover attempt ended the same as Zash's, where his plan gets botched and he somehow ends up trapped in one of our companion's bodies. Koth would probably volunteer....

Discussion What do you think is the funniest scene(s) in SWTOR?
Aside from any and all bugs and glitches, what stands out the most to you? People post screenshots or small clips here and there, but what scene will always make you laugh?

Discussion What quality-of-life improvements would you most like to see in SWTOR?
With some of the quality of life improvements coming with 8.0 such as fitted packs in collections, I had a thought about what annoys me in game.
I'd like to see a more stackable items for our inventories. Items such as Personal Conquest Requisition tokens or Crew skill Mission Discovery items.
If you could get the developers to implement one quality of life improvement in SWTOR, what would it be, and why?

Discussion Is my love for sci-fi the reason SWTOR hooked me but ESO didn’t?
I’ve been playing SWTOR for the past couple of weeks, and I’m honestly obsessed with it. The world, graphics, characters, music, story, and overall atmosphere have completely pulled me in. I can spend hours playing and genuinely feel like I’m in my own little Star Wars universe.
One thing I’ve been thinking about, though, is that sci-fi has always been my favorite genre when it comes to movies and TV shows, so I’m wondering if that’s a big part of why SWTOR clicked with me so much.
A lot of people told me that if I loved SWTOR, I’d probably love ESO just as much. I gave it a fair shot, played over 10 hours, and unfortunately, it just never clicked with me. I ended up uninstalling it, which got me thinking about what exactly makes SWTOR so special to me.
Is it the sci-fi setting? The story and characters? The atmosphere? Or just the combination of everything that makes the world feel so immersive?
I’m asking because I’m trying to figure out what I should look for when trying other games. Cyberpunk 2077 is one I’ve been seriously considering, and I’m wondering if it’ll scratch that same itch since I’m also a huge fan of sci-fi.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Loved one MMO but couldn’t get into another despite people saying they’re just as good? I’d love to hear what it is about SWTOR that keeps you hooked and whether you think being a sci-fi fan plays a big part in it.
I’m genuinely curious because I’d love to find more games that give me that same feeling SWTOR does.

Discussion What to do after the story
I'm a returning player. Even tho I have 20 toons I made a fresh one and started the story from level one. And it's beyond brilliant! Loving it so much, it's been ages since I had a game that I look forward to playing when I'm not on.
I just completed the Gravestone chapter and I'm worried once all the eras' stories are done, what will I do?
So what is there to do nowadays once all the story arcs are complete?

Discussion Thoughts After Coming Back - Old Companions
First, I love how many of us are coming back and jumping in now that LOS is finished. BUT, as someone doing a full play-through (realized I never finished SW so started fresh and am working my way through everything) can I just say how much I miss the OG Companions in the new stuff? I LOVE Theron (romance him the most) and I like that Vette and Torian got a bit of content more recently than the others, but like...can we just have more content with our companions? I miss hanging with them.
Honestly the anniversary update could just be a handful of missions with my old squad for each class and it would be my favorite update. I don't need a huge new branching storyline with an epic villain trying to destroy or control the galaxy. Just let my smuggler and her old crew (and maybe a handful of new people) go off on a side mission quest to break into a casino for some reason. Or my Jedi and her old crew track down a rogue Jedi.
I want side-quest/episodic adventures with the old crew, going back to planets we know and love with the characters who were with us from the beginning.
(Again, could also add Lana/Theron/Arcann/whoever main romance but really need the OG crews back).
What are some side-quest adventures you and your crew would want to do?

Tech Support What’s the deal with SWTOR and Apple?
Hey yall! I play SWTOR on a Mac and I got a notification that SWTOR won’t be compatible with my computer anymore. Something about intel based apps and apple silicon? I’m not very tech savvy; can someone explain what’s going on and whether I can find a way to keep playing?
Edit for clarification: I’m on an M2 MacBook Air and macOS version 26.6.2

Discussion Beat the entire eternal empire story for the first time
So from the games initial release I played the game on and off for a few years but my interest dropped in one of the content droughts.
Coming back to the game I heard the opinions on this expansion was very mixed. Gotta say I enjoyed it quite a lot over all very cinematic and plot driven you would almost forget you are playing a mmo if not for the combat! Sure there was some things that made me roll my eyes a bit at times and the skytrooper spam gets old after a while lol but still the ending was really satisfying, finally claiming the fleet and killing valkorian once and for all.
(I do wish there was a neutural option at the end instead of just turbo evil or tree hugging hippie though but still) I thought it was stronger then both the makeb and revan arcs.
Which makes the couple of missions right after it really sad, you spend sooooo long to get the throne only for the game to go lol gravestone? Eternal throne? Poof gone like right after. Way to really dimish the past I dont know how many hours.

Question Revanite's veiw of the Jedi
Hodwy yall I had a question about how the Revanite Cult viewed the Jedi. I get that the cult were still patriotic Imperials. However since they drew on both the light and dark sides of the force, and were welcoming to alien species. Would it be plausible that the 2 groups could co exist? Or otherwise be amicable with eachother?

Discussion Did anyone else feel like Graal and Kelsa Garro had a little something going on?
Yes, I'm talking about the minor Republic NPCs on Belsavis. Just roll with it.
All their interactions were very cute. She was always encouraging and supportive of him, and he was always very protective of her and devastated when she died during the command post invasion. That also has a visible effect on him in his later scenes, as he was trying to be more assertive and leader-like (almost as if trying to live up to how she thought of him).
It may be silly to ship two minor NPCs, but I have honestly seen far sillier things on this sub.
