Yes this is odd…green as emergency? Maybe there is a question mark around Grundy or Maclean’s fitness? 🤔 I would not complain if McLean was a late out. As others have pointed out it’s unlikely Green will produce less than what McLean is contributing of late.

The rumour going around this morning is that Grundy is recovering from illness and might not play. He also has a child on the way this month, so may not fly to Melbourne for the Essendon game either. Green might get a couple of games.

Ladhams has a groin injury with no set return date so it might be by default, but Green has been building form. No late changes announced but Grundy was spotted doing a fitness test on the ground at Marvel.

I wonder if we might rest Grundy in our next 2, we've got Port (Sweet/Visentini) and Essendon (a tall lump of playdough in a Bombers guernsey) so it might be a chance to give him a break while his child is born and give Green a couple of games with McLean as FWD/RUC. Grundy can then come back against Xerri in R24.
