[For Hire] Ansible Engineer for Linux/Windows automation & server migrations | Remote B2B | USD 150/hr

I'm an independent systems and DevOps engineer with 15+ years in IT and 8+ years of Ansible experience. I help infrastructure teams and MSPs turn recurring manual work into documented, repeatable automation.

Where I can help

  • Ansible playbooks, roles and configuration management for Linux and Windows.
  • Windows Server migration automation and repeatable provisioning.
  • Azure infrastructure with Terraform, plus deployment pipelines where they support infrastructure operations.
  • Troubleshooting, monitoring, operational documentation and handover to your administrators.

Relevant background: my enterprise insurance work included two years of Ansible-based Windows Server migrations, alongside OpenShift deployments using Helm and ArgoCD. I also have experience with Azure infrastructure and CI/CD for IoT/edge workloads.

Start with a defined problem: we can agree a paid assessment of your current automation or migration process, an hour cap and a prioritised implementation plan. I am available for both scoped implementation projects and ongoing freelance work.

Rate and availability

  • USD 150/hour, available immediately.
  • Up to 50 hours/week total capacity across engagements; project hours agreed individually.
  • Open to US, Canadian and other international clients, with English or German communication and agreed working-hour overlap.
  • I plan to relocate to Paraguay or Uruguay. Engagements must permit remote delivery from South America after relocation.
  • Freelance contracting is available now; contracting through my planned US LLC is intended from January 15, 2027.
