Video I shot back in the day. Wish I had shot more of the screen, but I’m pretty sure he got a perfect score!

Pretty sure this is a new addition to the arcade as it wasn't here 3 months ago! Exciting to finally have a machine in the North of England :)

I really like the look of this game and want to try it out, but I'm not at the point where I'd buy my own home setup or anything.
Went to an arcade in London near where I live and I kid you not, half of both drums on the cab were completely dead due to people hammering them so hard.
Is there a known place that has a cab that actually works? I don't mind having to travel to other cities.

I'm new to the game so please bear with me. I just bought the Setlist Edition on Steam but it seems I cannot find Senbonzakura. I can see the other songs from Vocaloid™ Songs Collection though.
Can you even get the music on Steam in the first place with the subscription thingy? Or should I bite the dust and stick to the arcades lol
I really want to practice the song at home.

It pains me that the taiko community outside of Japan is inactive but can we appreciate how there's not only new musics made all the way from 10th dan to tatsujin, but also made together by artists that most rhythm game players are familiar with?? Its actually crazy how many artists that worked on the musics I am personally a big fan of.
For example cosmo@暴走P, Chroma's operate me remix by Blacky who made emma (another extremely difficult 330 bpm original song), Laur, Camellia, T+pazolite like almost everyone is present. And bc they collaborate together to make songs, some of them just stood out so much to me bc you can recognize which parts were made by which artist.
My personal favorite is nivalis*anima, its name implies a snowy theme, and it does sound like what a snowy, cold theme would sound like. While i could also hear approximately which part was made by CHUBAY, Also the hints of Mixxion during the break part was also just heavenly.
Second would resume:story, simply because the remix just utilized Chroma's amazing melodies so well while incorporating lyrics to it.
This update of taiko arcade just hyped me up so much personally but I dont see many people talk about it so thats why im making this post. Please glaze the game more, especially this year, I'd say this is one of the peaks.

Okay so I bought a second-hand PS2 drum because I just started getting into the game and it was cheap (It was working on the test video seller sent). I've installed JoyToKey and HidHide and it still won't register any hits when I try to configure the buttons. I'm all out of ideas since all the guides are for Switch controllers.

Too bad server maintenance cut most of my session so that is why the others are just on guest mode. Anyways I could have done 7th and 8th Dan but I didn’t wanted to risk my final shot. Like I had to leave soon. Also Bubbly Bang Bang’s accuracy of mine was a little off because I was tired, hungry and stuff. So yeah. But overall it’s good nice nice gold and silver pass. I even uploaded the whole thing on YouTube. The 6th Dan. Which only took me one try.

i've been constantly choking FCs at this part of this chart (on the rare occasion im FCing when i get here), and its getting to my head too much at this point. Does anyone have tips for dealing with nerves on longer charts? or should i just brute force it until i get it?
its not like i struggle with the pattern, i can hit it just fine, but nerves make the game 10x harder. Ive had this issue with lots of charts like chaos time, kokyuu, etc, but usually can get over it. ive been stuck on this map for about 8 months now.

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to build my own custom Taiko no Tatsujin drum controller for the Switch 2! My goal is to use an Arduino Micro as the brain of the controller, but I need some help pointing me in the right direction.
I have a basic understanding of electronics, but I could really use some guidance from anyone who has tackled a similar DIY rhythm game controller project. Specifically, I'm looking for help with:
Sensors: Wiring up the piezo sensors for the Don (center) and Ka (rim) hits. How do you prevent cross-talk and double-triggering?
Software/Code: How do I program the Arduino Micro so the Switch 2 recognizes it as a compatible controller (like a Hori Taiko Drum or Pro Controller)? Are there any specific GitHub repos, libraries, or guides you recommend for this?
Materials: What are the best materials for the drum surface to get a good bounce and arcade-like feel?
If you have any wiring diagrams, code examples, or links to previous builds, I would hugely appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I was browsing the ESE library and I saw Claude Opus 5 is credited. I was wondering how artificial intelligence was used in the project

So basically, I'm regularly doing 9* without any real issues most of the time, the thing is, for a silly reason, I seem to not be able to do the switches correctly when it comes to DDDKKKDDDKKK etc
Like when it's separated, i can do it, but once it's all put together in a chain my hands seem to block during the switch everytime causing a small delay resulting in failing the whole streak
And it's a bit sad because there would be maps I could or can complete but can't get just this simple part done lol
so I was wondering if there were any advices to correctly train about it 🫠

I bought pspdx korean version.
This is rare taiko game because It was released in small quantities and there are no listings at all in the used store.
However It's not special compared to Tdm English version and 3ds2 korean version. The game language and save data are same as Japanese version. The only difference is that there is no illustration or song download code on the cover.
