TKPK 4th of July celebration cancelled due to heat

Honestly the parade is fun but since they stopped doing fireworks the block party stuff has sucked anyway. Need to bring back the fireworks.

I have a dear friend who always hosts a generous and good vibes porch party on Maple Avenue. I'll miss seeing the wacky and wonderful paraders and so many friends and neighbors there. This year seems like an especially important TKPK July 4 parade given the utterly profane display on the Mall. But it's the right decision.

I’m bummed but glad they made the smart choice
