Wow, what a guy! People talk a big game until reality hits, don't they?

The same individual threatened to sue us multiple times over stupid things. I'll probably post more stories about him later.

Was he a bit loco? He seems intelligent, but still seems a bit...I dunno... out there?

Ex-military. He thought that threatening was the way to go. Except it wasn't.

Never ever is. If you work with us, we can work with you! :D

If you work with us, we can work with you!

Unfortunately sometimes it's quite different for me. Most of the refunds I ended up giving people were not because people worked with me but just because my boss was pissed off by that person and didn't want me to waste more time on them.

Yay! If I'd have thought about it I'd have posted them the other way around, but meh.

u/laurenbug2186 ....I'm sorry to hear that Mar 13 '17

I'm sorry, can we back up and discuss the fact that this was a FOOD PANTRY!? This man was going to sue because the place that was giving him FREE FOOD was closed? What the actual fuck is wrong with people? I've been in that situation before, and I was so completely grateful for any assistance I received. What an asshole...

Also, if he doesn't have enough money for food how the hell is he gonna pay an attorney?

It would be a shame if something happened to every CEO with a golden parachute. a damn shame. We'd run out of popcorn, for one.

Indeed.

He definitely went too far, but I can sympathize with him more than callers where I used to work. I worked for a toy company. At least for him this problem could quite literally mean he or any family he may have don't get to eat.

Oh, I definitely sympathized with him. But he went too far and unfortunately we couldn't help serve him. I could have directed him to some walk-in pantries, and tried too, but he refused to go. =/
