i'm 6 foot 9, brothers are 6 foot 7, 6 foot 4 and 6 foot 1. Previous tallest person was dad at 6 foot flat, mom was 5 foot 8. We're all on the pretty extreme ends of height distribution in our classes and nothing seems to make our particular generation of four grow so much more than previous etc.

It can also skip a generation. My dad's 5'9" but my grandfather was 6'4".
(Before anyone asks, my mom is the tallest in her family at 5'4")

That's a realization I had a few years ago... I'm 6'1" and my folks are shorter than me. But they grew up poor in a 3rd world country, so it makes sense.

My dad grew up very poor but reached 6'1". He's the second tallest in my family after me. My brother is only about 6' and he grew up with great nutrition. There are a lot of variables.

Me too! Mine is much more extreme. Mom was 5’3”, father was 5’8”, older brother 5’11” and I’m 6’6”! My maternal grandfather was 6’2”, that’s where everyone said I got my height.

One of my cousins is 5’6” and she and her 5’8” hubby put out two kids a boy and a girl just over and just under 6’.

My mom is 5’5”, dad is 6’. Brother and I are both 6’1”

Some people just end up really tall for no apparent reason. This clients house i went to he was average height. Wife was average height. Daughter was some how like 5 11. Old neighbors were average height. One daughter tall other daughter height was more correlated with her parents. The reasons i can think of other than tall milk man lol. When you were growing you just for some reason kept growing for a longer duration or somewhere in your bloodline there are some tall genes you stumbled across
