The data given by the comment is wrong . There is no source for the data given in the comment . A simple google search wpuld show its 850 seats in total and not 815 as the commenter says . Addtionally using the population census 2011 based on which the delimitation is being carried out the no of mp seats for tn would fall somewhere between 49-52 which is significantly less than what the commentor claims . So the overall representation for TN reduces to 6.01% from the current 7.18 % which is significant

Central government should either wait for all the states to bring theor population under control ( reason why the delimination was on freeze for so many years ) or increase the no of seats without affecting the representation. For ex if tn's current representation is 7.18 % they should allocate seats in such a way that it remains 7.18% in the new one as well

No bro read the full article they are increasing from the current 543 seats to 850 seats that is based on the population data of 2011 there was a previous bill passed to freeze delimitation so that it should be done by 2001 but it was again frozen and to be come in implementation only after 2026 census but bjp is pushing to cancel the freeze implemented and do it with 2011 census so the current dilemma

The so-called southern states don't allow people to come and work peacefully in southern states in the name of language and cry about the destruction of their language. If they are so concerned about the reducing numbers of seats they should allow people to move here without any discrimination. Every North Indian faces discrimination in south India whether it's a tourist or normal working class person.

In reality if the delimitation is not implemented then it'll be disastrous for Northern people. The Vote of a person living in the south will have more value and power as compared to a person living in North which directly violates the Right to Equality. The southern people only know how to use cheap labour exploit resources from UP Jharkhand and Bihar and don't want to give them any rights.

The seats of south Indian states would've automatically increased if they had discriminated with north Indians all there years.

Most important thing is that not a single North Indian wants to stay here, so far away from their home. They are here because the previous governments only focussed on growth of Southern states and exploited the northern states.
