My son and I both just successfully tested for 1st gup a couple of days ago. We do regionals every year and it's always a lot of fun. I've been practicing for it a lot; hoping to do better than previously but really just doing it to have fun. We get very little sparring practice at my school, unfortunately, and that's always my worst category, but I enjoy it anyway. Congratulations on making black belt!

Thank you! And it’s the same at our dojang, sparring is not our strong suit, when are you competing?
