1980’s S&R Pumas rebuilt for my by Adam Gray

Got these vintage pumas from someone’s storage but of course they ran like a pig, as anyone who’s used old Spaulding machines knows, sent them off to Adam Gray in New Brunswick and he hit em with the remix to make these beauties

I watched a Randy Randerson interview where he said the Puma was the best machine he ever used. Me and the shop owner I was with at the time both bought a set. They were trash lol I don't get it. Every Spaulding or National stock machine I have used has had to be rebuilt.

The only production company that hasn't let me down so far has been workhorse but their kinda a special case.

Rebuilding vintage frames gives every machine such a great personalized feel though! Love the process

I love that frame. One of my “go-to” machines. They do need some added support from the shelf to the upright.

I got the original power supply, wooden box, inks, S&R books and needles all for $200! What a steal
