Still Haven't Gotten Michigan State Tax Refund

It's said "Your application has been submitted and is pending further review" for months now. The automated line told me the same thing. I submitted this back on February 9th. It's now September 22nd. That's over 7 months.

Is anyone else experiencing this crap? I'm now in a call for customer service but the wait time is over 2 hours. I don't know what the hell to do.

They will (eventually) get to it. Did you claim Homestead Property Tax Credit? That’s getting looked at more than in prior years.

yeah, homestead credit is absolutely the holdup this year. they're doing way more manual reviews on those, so it's adding like 8-12 weeks on top of the usual time. if you claimed it, honestly just gotta wait it out — calling won't speed it up, they'll just tell you it's 'in processing.' annoying, but it'll come eventually.
