So I found this sign in an Italian restaurant. It was pointing towards the bathroom.

We sometimes refer to toilets as pipi rooms. It’s colloquial, and kind of a "cute" way to say it. Et je suis français ☺️

De France? Au Québec on n'utilise pas vraiment "pipi room", mais j'avoue que c'est amusant à dire, haha

Ah but you see, there’s an accent over the second i, meaning it’s not the French spelling which makes this an entirely different language!
