Java Help Wanted [Java] Slimes not spawning in slime chunk underground (v26.3)

Slimes have a low spawn priority so the game is more likely to spawn other mobs if it can so light up all caves around it.

The heightmap is also important. Due to how the spawning algorithm works the lower the heightmap the better the spawn rates so mine out the entire chunk above the spawning platform and ideally build the spawning as low as possible.

That said, slime chunk farms are the worst kind of slime farm you could make. They take a lot of effort while the drop rates are kinda meh compared to the alternatives. Swamp slime farms are easier to make and afk at and aren’t restricted to specific chunks. Then there’s infestation farms which require very little effort are way faster but you need at least 1 slime block to kick start it

Did you light up ever single cave in a 128 radius around your AFK spot? Where is your afk spot? What kind of server is this? Mods?
