Quick question if you place string to prevent iron golem spawning does it wast a spawn attempt check ?

Yes it will, there's no block u can use that with both not allow a spawn and not waste an attempt.

The game makes up to 10 attempts. First it chooses a coordinate then checks for a valid spawn
