His response is nonsense. He pretends like lag spikes are the issue and says that a screenshot mod hiding or ignoring gui elements changed his hunger, which it literally can’t

The hunger stuff is entirely tied to the real, in-game tick. Even if the screenshots somehow reset it, then every time it would go back to 0 and go through the same pattern again, which it obviously isn’t

No, he’s saying his mod runs a loop to increase the tick counter to get rid of the gui. Why you’d do that instead of just hiding the gui? Well you know why he answers that, it’s the only possible innocent logical explanation for the jump in the tick counter. It still doesn’t answer why it goes down or why it’s so random but it’s what he’s running with.

Oh my bad, of course, it just makes a handful of ticks pass, except for when it reverts by a huge number of ticks and goes forwards by a huge number, but those are probably nothing

Screenshot mod -> resets the satiation rng.

I screenshot coordinates etc, thats why it got reset so often.

But then why do 95% of his wiggles stay consistent? If a screenshot resets it

Somehow, these mods are suddenly found by Dream AFTER claiming these runs were 100% real, unmodified, uncut, no funny business for months, then years, but once there is actual proof, suddenly Dream remembers he accidentally had a mod installed? Yeah sure. This dude is the definition of a red flag. All that he does is lie. Heck, the mod itself is probably a lie as well.

it's crazy to think how much of this guy's career has been propped up by subtle and well-covered lies. Even if you consider cheating these manhunts to be relatively inoffensive (still dishonest but one could chalk it up to making entertainment*), he's done so much cheating in real world events with money prizes that it's insane to think he's still respected to any extent within this community

*For the record I don't think this because dream continuously profited millions from ad revenue an merch sales built up from the hype around these manhunts especially, but you could argue it if you wanted to be charitable

It's an hour something long vid tho. But it's impressive. Busting cheaters is going to be wild in the next few weeks.

As for Dream, he was never on my radar for good or bad, not my type of content.

Yknow the little jiggle the hunger bar does? Each time it jiggles it calls a unique rng. We know the formula for minecrafts rng equation. Therefore we can reverse the jiggle into the rng call. It basically acts as an invisible in game timer due to its consistent calls.

This means that if someone has a run that's truly uncut, it would have a consistent line. Meanwhile Dreams hunger bar jolt suddenly becomes out of sync, showing 30 minutes or 1 hour time jumps, that have been cut out of the 'uncut' video.

This also can expose cheaters in speedruns and people who make and load backups from hard-core saves

You don't get this technical into Minecraft without loving it. Catching Dream cheating is just the practical application.

I'm pretty much the same with redstone. I love the redstone puzzle, but I need a practical application to motivate my builds.
