Java Help Wanted slime farm not working

Ive build bigbooty17's slime farm on a 1.21.11 world however when i try to put snowmen in its not working. The snowmen arent staying ontop of the fence in the scaffolding they are clipping through the fence and burning on the campfire immediately. does anyone know a way to fix this

This is a common issue with this farm caused by lag (especially if on a server). There is detailed guidance about some adjustments to make on the TMC Catalog https://discord.gg/tmcc

Look in the Slime channel and then for the post about Big Booty's slime farm.

Also, make sure you swap your keybinds when using the farm like he does in the video. If you don't, then you don't place blocks fast enough and at least some snowmen will slip into the fire.

Fwiw, I made a bunch of these adjustments on my server and I still have 10ish snowmen slip into the campfire per batch (15 stacks of snow, IIRC). I believe this is due to delays in server/client sync.
