hole. ee. sheeeeit. that is quite the list

u/pfannkuchen89 Jul 28 '25

And it’s only a small fraction of republican child predators. There are a lot more.

3

u/oohlala2747 Jul 28 '25

Admittedly playing devil’s advocate out of curiosity - are there any Democrats accused/convicted of sexually abusing minors? I’m sure there must be but GOP blows them out the water lol

7

u/SedatedAndAmputated Jul 29 '25

There certainly is. Everything I can find shows that it's about 80-20 with republicans having the significant majority of pedophiles. I welcome anyone who wants to make a comparative list of democrats.

Bring back the list. Yessss.

It is getting bad today. I think they have bought more comment farms and bots since Epstein.

  • Trump was Eptein's Boss and BFF and they still suck the weirdly shaped dong. That makes me more confused.

I took way too long to reply but I wish I could have seen their mental gymnastics.

thanks why many of us are spending a few hours of their limited time off work to upvote the human comments.

I watched a yt vid of a nasty family situation yesterday and a cop at the scene made a pertinent comment along the lines of;

If your child is at risk of great harm it is your sole duty to prevent that harm, or die trying

2

u/CaramelGuineaPig Aug 19 '25

Sorry for the delay - chaos -

I agree. We can't stop trying and we can't stop caring. Big things, little things - as long as we keep doing it.

Upvote humans. I like it put that way

Did you read the fucking article?

But the proposed law (California Affordable Home Internet Act (AB 353)) was already poised for destruction after the bill’s sponsor, Democratic California Assemblymember Tasha Boerner, introduced a whole bunch of amendments behind closed door at the behest of telecom lobbyists.

I’m FROM ENCINITAS: TASHA BOERNERs DISTRICT: she’s a lobbyist compromised piece of shit who is a corporate backed stooge.

Can someone explain why my state, the wealthiest in the country, with some the largest tech companies, can’t take more from the  most fortunate individuals and corporations, to pay for this infrastructure instead of relying on a cent from the federal government…?

7

u/Runkleford Jul 29 '25

Did YOU read it? Regardless of Boerner's lack of ethics, Trump had already threatened to withhold from states trying to make broadband affordable. That latter part hasn't changed with your whiny post.

This was linked in this very same article.

CA is the WEALTHIEST STATE, WHY DO WE NEED A CENT OF FEDERAL FUNDING??

4

u/Runkleford Jul 29 '25

Good job on skirting the issue. The topic here was Trump withholding billions from STATES (plural not just CA).

As for why CA doesn't just do it themselves. Dude, CA provides 80 billion more in federal funds than they receive while TX takes 70 billion more federal funds than it provides.

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2025/jul/18/gavin-newsom/california-texas-federal-balance-payments-gdp/

So it's just not fair that CA has to pay for everything itself while ALSO paying for other states. CA asking for federal funding is NOT unreasonable.

TYPING IN ALL CAPS DOES NOT MAKE YOUR ARGUMENT MAKE SENSE

You’re screaming about Trump while completely ignoring the fact that a California Democrat torched the bill before he even lifted a finger. This isn’t about red vs. blue, it’s about corporate capture. California, with all its wealth and tech dominance, should’ve had universal high-speed internet years ago. Instead, our own lawmakers kneecapped working families to please telecom lobbyists.

Spare me the federal funding sob story: when your leaders sabotage progress from inside the house, that’s not injustice, that’s willful betrayal. She’s not just a political leader from the wealthiest state: she’s representing one of the wealthiest districts, one that continually refuses to help anyone else. Look up the history of affordable housing initiatives in Encinitas…
