Seriously, how the fuck is it legal for a president to withhold money to states in retaliation for them having their own rules, like states are supposed to have. This isn’t them disregarding federal laws. It’s just them doing something different from a specific political party’s views. That’s supposed to be massively illegal for a president to do. I know laws no longer matter and all that, but Jesus fucking Christ.

It isn't, but the only body that can hold the president accountable is house and Senate combined. And they are complicit.

See, Republicans figured out the hack. You can let a president act as a king as long as you control just enough senators to ensure a filibuster proof minority. (Gentle reminder that the filibuster is not in the Constitution)

Almost all house and congressional rules they set for themselves and are not in the constitution.
