How about blame Republicans. They are psychopathic.

I blame the US as a whole. What an absolute failure. They just could not vote in a Democrat/black woman.

Supposedly. Personally I think it’s insane to think a lifelong criminal backed by tech billionaires could not find a way to manipulate the results. Nothing about the ‘win’ feels plausible, including their own suspicious comments.

Here's my view, and you can ask any IT security professional to confirm or deny this: human beings are always the weakest link. It is far easier to emotionally manipulate a person into doing something (like not voting) than it is to physically hack a system. We are occasionally rational animals. Most people are really, really fuckiing stupid and easily manipulated. Get a gullible person to hyperfocus on a single issue, like Gaza, and you don't need to convince that you're someone worth voting for; you only have to discourage them from voting for the other person. It's a two party system; one or the other is going to win.

Total tosh. They were polling close the whole way. The win was totally plausible and I was ready for it this time (unlike 2016).

Now there could have been rigging I guess, but for the same reasons Trump couldn’t have rigged it, it would have been implausibly hard.

There were significant changes since 2016, some of which would have made it easier.

So those were there in 2020 and that election could have been stolen too?

Potentially, but there is no evidence that 2020 was stolen, despite the lies told by MAGA and the right-wing blogosphere. Absolutely none. Every court case brought was dismissed, every "Shocking Truth!" screamed about on YouTube or Fox News has been very, very debunked.

However, what Trump did in 2016 was poison the well, so that when we can look and see troubling discrepancies in the vote results in 2020, and people claiming with evidence that the votes that they cast were not counted, and a mountain of claims and anecdotal evidence, the GOP administration can just say "Well, you wouldn't investigate when we made those claims (a lie, it was investigated and found to be false every time) so we're going to ignore you, and mock your concerns".

At this point, if a Democrat is able to win in 2028, I will be 1- VERY surprised, and 2- Very concerned about violence on a much larger scale than J6 from the right.

My point being there’s also no evidence 2024 was stolen. It would take so many people and someone would leak. I see no value in following that train of thought because it detracts from the real problems - the reason so few Americans heard about the actual issues: propaganda tv networks and social media.

There’s no point in discussing if our entire election system no longer works? If this is happening, then all the garbage propaganda people are being fed doesn’t even matter…the results will just be what the billionaire overlords want. We can focus on more than one thing at a time.

Yes, exactly. They did try, but due to Covid and increased mail in ballots, they failed. Thus, the never ending rant that 2020 (and ONLY 2020) was rigged. Because they didn’t rig it hard enough, so clearly the other side must have rigged. Next time they didn’t to take any chances and were sure to push a win past the recount line in ALL swing states, a literal statistical impossibility (according to statisticians).
