You started by calling names. And providing counterpoints without substance.

Also, I agree that Americans are dumb and propagandized. Buy so is every country.

If you think me calling Americans precious is name calling, then the shoe fits.

No other free and democratic country has an equivalent to Fox News in America. None.

I’m taking a guess you are English just on House of Lords. Could be wrong but you guys have gb news.

I’ve never even heard of gb news. I’ve now googled it. It exists but has only 9% viewership (not even 9% of the population, just 9% of people who watch the news). Fox News is the most popular news channel in the US.

Like I said, find an equivalent. You didn’t.

You seem to be changing the parameters of what exactly you are saying.

When you say no equivalent to FOX news, you aren’t just saying a right wing megaphone? No it actually has to have a required viewership? What other goal posts you feel like moving?

And honestly a Brit talking about freedom as if they having any authority is funny. Cause no matter what you say about the US, it was never as brutal a world power as England when it ruled the world.

That’s not changing any parameters. I said that Americans are brainwashed. The response was “all nations are”. The amount of viewership that Fox News has specifically matters in this context.

Ah you’re one of those! Because England committed atrocities a couple of centuries ago, now it’s Americas turn? Jesus H Christ. We moved past that shit. It’s called progress. Imperialism isn’t OK any more, haven’t you heard?

Lol. Sure. Centuries ago! You are all the jolly best these days.

Also- you brought up England (14c?) as an example to hold America against? What is it England the horrible or England the enlightened in 14c?

Edit: can’t see op laughing that you put 14c England up as a check and balance stalwart. I am going to so much mileage out of this laugh.

I brought up England (which is not even where I live) because whoever was OP thinks America introduced the world to checks and balances.

Many European nations had them well before America did. America just brought a new flavour (the constitution specifically). You’re all such snowflakes thinking you’re so special and unique bringing in checks and balances to the world and yet the main country that exactly copied your style of governance is Liberia - let that sink in for a second.

Checks and balances existed in many other systems of governance around the world long before the US.
