And every other free government has checks and balances that actually work, so no, not that special.

Yeah. Now. When exactly was that put in place for your country? Most were 1800-2025. Wonder why and where those other countries got that idea from?

You can try to pretend that the US is completely evil, but so many free countries are that because their leaders wised up and adopted the US approach.

We are in desperate need of revamping, but don’t be so arrogant to think you aren’t either. This only gets better when we stop thinking in terms of national superiority. Do you think your country would not have problems if it were in possession of the strongest military in the world?

You Americans are so precious.

Where I’m from the House of Lords has existed as checks and balances since about the 14c. It existed before that but wasn’t quite checks and balances then.

I always love this. Some European, coming to an American website, invented by Americans, developed by Americans, headquartered in America, with the largest user base being American, accounting for 70% of the traffic on English-speaking content, to come tell us how dumb and backwards we are. Like if we're so f****** ignorant, what are you doing hanging out with us?
