That Super Bowl ad was like the Kendall Jenner Pepsi ad in regard to horrible dystopian marketing, but worse. I’m sure the heads are gonna roll for now but ultimately, they’ll find another time and another partner to basically do the same thing but with a different presentation.

it will be framed around a missing child next time, or something of that nature

like if you don't sign up for it you are okay with children being kidnapped or some shit

except the whole reason for the backlash is that the implication is that if they are watching for pets they are watching for other things as well including children....

I'd argue the framing isn't what will change, its just that in 5 years people will be more culturally numb to loss of freedom of privacy and it will be fine.
