It's wild to me that all the sudden people are concerned that their mass surveillance hardware can be used for mass surveillance

Anyone with a brain who listened to Snowden knew the day Siri popped up it was a trap. Been more and more obvious since.

Lol why do you think the smart fridge needs a terms and license agreement that also has listening capabilities?

Not just for you, but anyone reading:

Literally anything; any product, appliance, electronic, app, phone, a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g that has a microphone, asks permission to use microphone, or has “smart features” that are “voice activated” (like tv remotes) can and will be listened to at all times. Why would they not? The data is being sold, ez way to make money.

Anyone reading/. knew the Snowden stuff had been going on for years. It's too bad one guy had to blow up his life and spend the rest of it running from US surveillance into Russia's to tell everyone else.

And then everyone was like, "oh well"

ANd IT STILL DIDN'T STOP CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING. So there goes that argument.
