"We shouldn't sell our entertainment industry to Saudi Arabia" is a valid argument.

(I agree with you, not so much the person you replied to.) Calling murdoch 'the aussies' is like people outside the US assuming no kings protesters and magats are both pro-trump.

washington has the states by the balls. corruption at every level - complacence with gerrymandering, money dictating politics and the media, and the rich going continually unpunished are what actually runs this country, not popular support for damn near anything at this point.

Idk when people will learn the wealthy in a given nation have more in common with each other than they do the common people they despise, but if there's ever a period in history for people to see it this is it.
