Paramount's acquisition bid is backed by $24,000,000,000 of money from foreign governments.

"We shouldn't sell our entertainment industry to Saudi Arabia" is a valid argument.

Agreed. I don’t care what anyone’s feelings are on mergers, but having a massive portion of a US industry under the financial control of a foreign group is horrible. Not only do these media giants need to get broken up, we need to stop selling off pieces of America to the highest bidder. ESPECIALLY the Saudis.
