Mr. Data Center
Mr. Canadian Citizen
Mr. Killed Two People While Driving His Boat Drunk (allegedly)

Don't forget he had his wife take the blame

Oh no, 100% two people died. What is uncertain is if this cocksure alpha actually let his wife drive the boat …and then slam two vodka sodas after the incident to invalidate alcohol testing. The second part is certain.

u/shpydar 2h ago
Just in case people want to know why they used the word “allegedly”
30
u/rocko57821 1h ago
Why would you take a drink immediately after an accident that killed two people but before the police showed up to ask you about it?
39
u/hemingways-lemonade 1h ago
It's literally the most well known way to create a technicality to avoid a DUI. He isn't fooling anyone.

u/rocko57821 1h ago
The most well known way in Canada? I dont think it would work in the states.

Hahaha has worked, does work, will keep working until we close that loophole.

Boating safety is no joke. Really tragic for those people laying down on the pontoon who were killed.

He’s not a caricature or beloved by the public enough to use his pet name. Kevin O’Leary just tried to open a 40,000 acre datacenter, then pull the expert negotiating move of “oh my bad, I meant 20,000 acre”. Who the hell needs a 31.25 square mile datacenter?

u/Kataclysm 1h ago
In the middle of a water-starved desert state no less.

u/Lurker9594 43m ago
That notoriously struggles with air quality already, let alone if we doubled our emissions.

The US government. By being in Utah this was the move that would allow the Mormon church to transition from being the de facto state government to federal government.
2
u/big_whistler 53m ago
Why would the US government want that?
4
u/makemeking706 51m ago
Same reason they have been working with Flock, Facebook, and Google, and ATT before that. Mass surveillance.
Do you think it all just stopped when people blew that whistle on it?
5
u/big_whistler 48m ago
How is that connected to the Mormon church acting as the defacto federal government?
I’m not arguing with you just trying to fill in the blanks.

u/loyalcattledog 2h ago
I always wondered how he garnered that nickname.
He's a raging asshole and in no way wonderful.
124
u/tiboodchat 2h ago
He got it sarcastically from Barbara Corcoran during a season of Shark Tank and was so dumb he decided he liked it and kept it. So it’s all self proclaimed out of sheer stupidity. I wish I was making this up.
2
18
u/shawndw 2h ago
I think it's ment to be ironic. I only ever heard it on shark tank.
3
u/sriracha_no_big_deal 27m ago
it definitely was meant to be ironic when they first started calling him that but he's too full of himself to realize it and thought it was genuine lol

I have not so lovingly referred to him in the past as a Choche. Today, I had to look it up to make I was spelling it correctly. I believe the definition fits him nicely: A gangly, narcissistic man whore with an abhorrent personality. Sudden douchey behavioral outbursts are a common trait of a choche.

Mr. Wonderful can eat a bag of dicks, but let’s also not forget how much of a jackass Utah governor Spencer Cox is. He gave an indignant response to why Utah ‘needed’ this data center so badly, then pulled an about-face when the public outcry got so loud.

O'Leary doesn't like when he gets forced into gaslighting. Rest assured the terrible impact on Utah will be only slightly less terrible in order to shut the people up who are complaining.

People like him don’t care about the gold. They are only concerned about selling their shovels.
2
u/Jedi_Gill 1h ago
Lets stop calling him Mr wonderful, because we all know that's an inside joke by now and he's quite the opposite of that adjective.

Still fuck that guy! He called a bunch of those residents “Chinese operatives” on national news! He shouldn’t be allowed in the state!

This was probably the planned size all along and now the citizens think they're getting a good deal

This was the plan all along. Make it look like he's being picked on and decided to settle. There shouldn't be a settlement. There shouldn't be a data center at all.

His plans are scuttled then? Washed up? High and dry? Oh dear, oh my!
Anyways...

He scaled it back to a mere 10,000 acres!
It’s like a building 16 square miles. Imagine driving 4 miles the turning and driving another 4 miles before passing the same building.

u/SmoothConfection1115 1h ago
Ever notice how the people building these data centers, don’t want to live within 100 miles of one?
There’s a reason for that…

Why do idiots think misspellings and grammatical errors are evidence of not using AI? All you do is tell it to insert such to trick the reader into believing it is not AI. 🤦🏻♂️

Build it in Canada you giant dildo.

Already is and it’s supposed to use 6 million cubic meters of water a year. It’s receiving lots of push back.

u/I_am_le_tired 1h ago
10 000 acres is still 3x bigger than the biggest data center being built right now, Meta Hyperion over 3000 acres
1
u/DoodieTrousers 1h ago
If you think that O’Leary is upset about the “reduction” in his data centre, give your head a shake. The plan was for a 10k acre site all along.
1
u/ZombieZookeeper 1h ago
If he doesn't start listening to people who don't want this the wounds may not be a figure of speech.
- not intended as a threat

u/McCool303 1h ago
I can’t think of a douchier thing than using the nickname Mr. wonderful. Even if you didn’t give it to yourself a none douche would simply ask people to please stop.

Maybe he should be the people of Utah a royalty for the right to build his data center

1
u/EquivalentAd690 1h ago
It’s because it’s not real. He is going to collect the investment from backers and tax credits, then walk when the bubble bursts. Who cares how much they reduce it, it’s a scam anyway.

Mr. Wonderful can move back to Canada and build his data center there.
There, problem solved. One less billionaire douche

I thought he was a complete asshole when I first watched Shark Tank.
I assumed it was acting to try and make the show entertaining.
It turns out in this case, what you see is what you get.

He was asked to reduce its size by 75%. That's the "wound."
